§ 40-337. Search warrants.

  • If the director has been refused access to any user's building, structure or property or any part thereof, and if the director has probable cause to believe that there may be a violation of this article, or that there is a need to inspect as part of a routine inspection program designed to verify compliance with this article or any pretreatment facilities permit issued by the IEPA or any other issued hereunder, or to protect the overall public health, safety and welfare of the village, then the director may, upon application by the village attorney, obtain a search warrant from any court of competent jurisdiction.
