§ 8-96. Dogs at large.

(a)

It shall be unlawful and a violation of this section for the owner of any dog to suffer, permit, allow or otherwise fail to prevent any such dog to be at large.

(b)

Any dog discovered to be at large within the village may be impounded by any police officer or any animal control officer.

(c)

The offense specified by this section shall be an absolute liability offense.
