§ 44-46. License fee.

  • (a)

    The annual license fee shall be in the amount established from time to time by the village board for each taxicab operated for each fiscal year, payable in advance, and shall expire on April 30 of the year for which it was issued; provided, however, that said license fee shall be 50 percent if payable during the second half of the fiscal year. Whenever the number of cabs so operated shall be increased during the license year, the licensee shall notify the clerk of such change and shall obtain additional licenses and pay the additional fee.

    (b)

    A transfer fee in the amount established from time to time by the village board shall be payable to the village clerk whenever a licensee requests a transfer of registration from one vehicle to another vehicle.
