§ 2-536. Establishing an ad hoc committee on naming facilities.

There is hereby established an ad hoc committee to be known as the committee on naming
facilities (the "naming committee"). From time to time as petitions or requests are
made in accordance with section 2-537, the village president shall, with advice and consent of the board of trustees, appoint
five members of the naming committee, one member of which shall be a trustee, one
member of which shall be a member of the plan commission, one member of which shall
be an appointed officer or employee of the village and two members of which shall
be citizen representatives of the village. It shall be the duty and responsibility
of the naming committee to review proposals and make recommendations for the naming
or renaming of any existing village facility as defined in section 2-537.
