§ 14-30. Compilation and contents.

  • The annual budget, as compiled by the budget officer, shall contain estimates of revenue available to the village for the fiscal year for which the annual budget is prepared, together with recommended expenditures for the village and all of the departments, commissions and boards of the village. Revenue estimates and expenditure recommendations shall be presented and shall be itemized in a classification of accounts in such a manner as is in conformity with good fiscal management practices. The annual budget shall contain actual or estimated revenues and expenditures for the two fiscal years immediately preceding the fiscal year for which the annual budget is prepared. Each annual budget shall show the specific fund from which each anticipated expenditure shall be made.
