A certain document, at least one copy of which is and has remained on file for a period
of not less than 30 days prior to the adoption of the ordinance from which this article
is derived and shall be kept available for public use in the office of the village
clerk, being marked and designated as the International Energy Conservation Code,
2006 edition, as published by the International Code Council, be and is hereby adopted
as the energy conservation code (the "energy conservation code") of the village, for
regulating and governing energy efficient building envelopes and installation of energy
efficient mechanical, lighting and power systems as herein provided; providing for
the issuance of permits and collection of fees thereof; and each and all of the regulations,
provisions, conditions and terms of the energy conservation code are hereby referred
to, adopted and made a part hereof as if fully set out in this article, with such
additions, amendments, insertions and deletions, if any, prescribed in section 10-324.
